MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Friday that the country was looking for alternatives to comply with an 81-year old water treaty with the United States.

Mexico has fallen short on its water deliveries to the U.S., prompting threats of tariffs by U.S. President Donald Trump, though Sheinbaum said in her regular press conference that she expects an agreement in coming days.
