The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) said timber giant Samling had illegally harvested timber and destroyed high conservation value forests in Sarawak.

The non-profit group said this after an investigation using satellite evidence in coordination with a coalition of NGOs that lodged a complaint against Samling in 2022.
